About Me
In 1988, my life changed forever. I was saved, and let me tell you, I was grateful. Why? Because while most people are busy hoping their good works will outweigh their bad, I knew—I mean knew—I was deserving of Hell. There was no doubt about it.
This newfound gratitude lit a fire in me. I believed in a very real Heaven and a very real Hell, and I couldn’t bear the thought of my friends and loved ones ending up in the latter. So, like any new believer brimming with zeal, I jumped headfirst into sharing the Gospel.
The Result?
I quickly became a “Jesus Freak.” Friends? Alienated. Family? Convinced I’d joined a cult. (Spoiler: I didn’t. I was just doing basic Christianity…badly.) Truthfully, I was ineffective and awkward in sharing my faith, and I didn’t enjoy being “that strange religious guy.” I think that’s why so many Christians shy away from evangelism.
But I didn’t give up. Instead, I went on a quest to find better ways to share the Gospel—ways that worked for me and didn’t make people look at me like I’d grown a second head. And that’s when I discovered "Evangelism "Instruction."
My Evangelism Journey
Over the years, I’ve studied just about every method out there. From the "Romans Road" and the "Four Spiritual Laws" to "Evangelism Explosion," the "3 Stories" method, "Way of the Master," and "3 Circles" —Just to name a few. I’ve even volunteered with organizations like Youth for Christ for decades, soaking up wisdom like a sponge.
Despite all this training, I faced a big hurdle: starting the conversation. As a shy person, it always felt awkward. Worse, I hated the idea of coming across as someone with an ulterior motive. Can people trust you if they feel you’re steering the conversation toward a hidden agenda? I wasn’t so sure.
So, I often hesitated. But deep down, I knew I had to overcome this. I feared meeting God one day and being embarrassed by the lack of fruit in my life. After all, I’ve been given much, and I know much will be expected of me.
A Breakthrough
When I got serious about sharing my faith, it was like a light bulb went on. I started noticing techniques that fit me. I began piecing together different methods like a puzzle, and it completely transformed the way I share the Gospel.
Now, I share my faith with hundreds of people regularly. And guess what? They don’t see me as a “Jesus Freak” anymore—I just get to be myself, and I’m having a blast! Even atheists, who don’t change their beliefs, thank me for talking to them. Yes, you read that right—atheists thank me. They tell me I didn’t make them uncomfortable, didn’t judge them, and simply loved them. That’s what it’s all about.
Why I Do What I Do
This journey has changed my life forever. I believe God has called me to something bigger than myself—a God-sized vision that I’ll never be equipped for on my own. So, I lean on Him every step of the way. (Seriously, keep me in your prayers!)
Now, I want to share what I’ve discovered with you—whether you’re an individual, a church, or an organization. Imagine this:
- Sitting at an event or on a street corner, and people approach you. They’re curious about what you have to say.
- You engage them, build instant rapport, and they happily give you permission to share the Gospel.
- You share the Good News clearly and concisely, and precious souls make the life-changing decision to follow Christ.
Sounds incredible, right? That’s exactly what our method, “Easy Button Evangelism,” offers. It’s so simple, even I can do it!
